Internship Opportunities
Interested in supporting our program while building your professional skills within the nonprofit sector? Interns with The Reading People work with staff directly to assist in a variety of areas and tasks, including but not limited to:

Facilitation of program areas (Adult Literacy, GED, ESL, Children's Program)

Grant writing

Marketing, communications, and social media

Special events & fundraisers

Training and supporting teen and adult tutors

Reading Assessments for Adult Literacy and English as a Second Language students

Data entry, reporting

Volunteer program area (recruitment, training, scheduling, communications, appreciation)

Upkeep and development of instructional resources
Interns are trained by and work directly with The Reading People staff. Credits and certificates may be earned in specific programs.
